Well our Pioneering Days where a bit of a challenge as we where traveling and visiting relatives during that time. One of those too many iron's in the fire kinda times. Anyway, our visit was great, we even brought back a stowaway!! Our daughter has a very special bond with her cousins and it's very evident when you see them together. Here's a picture I took on our way back. We stopped at the world's largest McDonald's to eat lunch and stretch our legs. It is built over the freeway like a bridge and you can set in the eating area and watch
cars traveling under your feet. This has become a regular stop for our trips back (all two we made so far anyway). We also had a wonderful oppurtunity to serve our relatives while visiting. I loved cooking for a crowd again for the four days we spent together. It was a bit cold so we made Potato soup with ham and cheese added in, Pancake and suasage dinner, and Pot Roast with potatoes and carrots. For the other meals we ate oatmeal and/or cereal, and sandwiches with salads for a few of
the adults. We where able to share christmas exchanging of gifts and a rousing game of Hullabiloo. The kids had a blast with this one. It's one of the cranium games, check out their website for more family fun. Enough of the commercial now. We got the boys their Camie shirts, a hoodie, and camie fleece hats to stay warm. DD got a Sims 2 Playstation Game. It's been a real hit around here since we got back. And cousin #2 came back with us to spend the month. So we will have a busy month to come and get to spend Christmas all together again here.P.S. All the traveling plans have drasticly changed. I have rescheduled everything except the retreat. Since most of the plans where more personnel then business that doesn't affect any of my stampin' and scrapbooking ladies. So no worries.
All orders placed between 11/17 and 11/21 are running later then expected, check your emails for personnel information about these ladies.
The Hostess Appreciation Lunchen was a big hit. And I don't have anything else to put for sale until this weekend. I will be selling pre-made Christmas card mixed sets starting Friday Dec. 7th. Keep your eyes open for the links and details. Enjoy your Holidays!!
