Most of you know my Dad was diagnosed with Cancer earlier this summer. Well after Radiation Seeds where placed in July and the follow up scans in August we are at the Laser radiation stage of his treatment.
This week he will be having that treatment each morning for five days. His spirits are good, his appetite is good, he's sleeping at night again, and he's got some color back in his face. The Doc says there shouldn't be many side affects of this type of radiation treatment so we are praying for the best. Even though my dad's in good spirits and we've had alot of wonderful time as a family lately we are all still a bit aprehensive with this new treatment. 
The next stage would be harder radiation and/or chemo. But we are praying things don't get to that point. Right now we are so grateful and pleased with Dad's positives - sleeping good, which means he's getting to bed at a decent time - which means he's getting up earlier - and wanting to do things around the house again - which increases his apetite and his mood - which helps him have better color because of the nutrition and a brighter happier outlook. And you can tell from the picture we took while at family camp he was even smiling. Now that's my Daddy!
