POD

I haven't posted a photo for a few days. So here's a pretty Azule Damsilfly from the botanical gardens. We captured this photo while this little guy was resting on a marble topper along the Texas boardwalk. One way you can tell the difference between damsilflies and dragonflies is by where their wings are when they rest. A damsilfly's wings tuck back and a dragonfly's wings will be out and down like a butterfly's. (Damsilflies have retracting wings as seen here). Enjoy the photo!!
