ook at the pretty roses hubby got me this weekend. And they smell so nice and boy are they strong. I had to put them on my dresser in our bedroom since they have baby's breath in them. Our cat Ceasar loves the taste of baby's breath for some reason. We learned this the hard way a few years back when he pulled down a vase of roses from the dinning room table and proceeded to eat all the baby's breath to the point of getting sick. He's such a stange and loveable fur ball. If you've ever seen our cats you know how big of a fur ball they both can be. Ceasar weighs about 20 pounds and Sadie is about 18 pounds.
So needless to say we don't pick them up much. I'll just have to load up some photos of them one of these days. Anyway here's a picture of my hubby when he was around 9 or 10 and yes he's riding a donkey in Rhodes, Greece. One of his family's vacations while they where overseas. Here's a close up for you. I just love the smell of these beautiful roses. Isn't my hubby just the sweetest! He's such a great guy. He's been working so hard to fix up our home and make it more energy efficient and a relaxing, inviting place for our family and everyone that comes to visit. I'd say he's doing a wonderful job of it. He's also been working very hard at a job he enjoys doing with a bit of a challenging work invironment. He's the analytica type that just wants to get to work and get the job done with great detail producing a well made product. He's such a great tesimony of integrity. He always strives to do his best work and gets a bit indignent when others around him don't. He definently feels this is a challenge for him and I just keep encouraging him to be an example and maybe he'll make an impact on those around him. God has a plan for him there so until it's time to more on he's making the best of it and do his part. I'll just have to take some picture of the work he's been doing in the back for you to see. It doesn't look like much but when you think of what all goes into doing it the right way you really start to realize all the work and sweat he's put into it.
