POD

This little buckeyed butterfly was such a stubburn cretter. We had such a hard time getting it out from under the canopy that we have over the back porch slab (to keep the guys from getting too hot from the sun back there). Finally David caught him and when he attempted to let him fly away he was content with clinging to his hand. I must have taken about 30 shots of him on the canopy netting and im his hand. This picture is my all time favorite from those shots. You can see so much of his coloring and the details. He almost looks fake. Here's a sneaky peak at the work that they have been doing to our back slab. Don't worry they are suppost to know what they are doing. I know my dad knows construction, but my brother and hubby, not. And this is just the tip of the ice burge. They have three of these square holes chipped and dug out of the slab edge. The currently have these squares all chipped out and the ground underneath dug out to three feet under the ground level. The inspector is due in a few days to approve the depth and circumferious and their post placement. One more step close to a porch cover. We'll end up with steel posts and a wood and shingle roof cover. Dad got some more support rotiron prepared and ready for the three holes in our slab. I'll have to take some more pictures soon.
