Did someone say MOVIES?

Well it's movie night at the ol'casa. And it's rainy out so that's just fine! Our movies for the evening are "Love comes softly" and "Tristan & Idolde". I guess we are having a romantic movie night. Now where is that microwave popcorn we have a whole box around the kitchen somewhere. lol

We really enjoyed both movies! Love comes Softly is the first in a four part movie series that we are going to rent and watch. It's an old fashion christian love story about the challenges and struggles of pioneer life with the suttle message about why God lets bad things happen. We're looking forward to seeing how the story line continues. It's a good testiment of a father's faith.

Tristan & Isolde was very intense in places, but very good. David really enjoyed the action parts and it is definantly a couples only movie. By the time we started watching it Katy was into doing her own thing in another room. True to the Romeo and Juliet mold the ending was a tragic one. But we both thought that if they had just been honest from the start things would have been different and that Lord Marke would have understood and given her to Tristan being he was like a son to him. Okay that's enough of our rewriting of the movie.
