that means is that for that decided time frame there is no electronics used by us. NO computer, tv, radio, texting, ipods, anything that you would buy at an electronics store. Kitchen appliances, automobiles, and running water are exceptions for this one. We seriously have had those kind of pioneering days before. They are called true camper's pioneering days to make it sound much nicer. lol Anyway, why are we doing this? Two fold, 1. It gives us time to focus on family and the blessings we have been given this year instead of having our time sucked away with electronics activities. 2. Shows us how much we are really addicted to these man made machines in our lives and exactly how much time we do devote to them. It's going to be a challenge, but we will have a survival kit ready to whip out in the event of entrapment. lol I'm referring to the football game on Thursday. Yes we will not be at our home, but we will also not be watching the game on the tv, we will be playing board games in the next room with who ever wants to join. In our survival kit is some card games, a board game or two, dice for playing Farkel (a wonderful math game!!), a christmas time song book, two travel pillows (for impromptu pillow war), popcorn and Coco mix (for christmas light watching), paper and markers (for making treasure hunt clues), road maps, some collapsable walking sticks, and a star scope with a star charts for those days of pioneer living. Also after that I'll be out of town (sort of) for about two days, then four days, then another four days, then two days again over the next month. I know this sounds criptic, but there is at least one day at home between them all. So please be patient if emails take a day or so longer to answer. I will have computer access during most of our travels. And all of the classes and workshops and the Brunch have already been prepared and supples ready to go so no worries! The only wait is on the survey for the Brunch gals. Not a problem either. I have a few days there to prep and bake my little content heart out. Really I love baking!! We'll be visiting my bil and his family, going on a surprise (atleast to me anyway) outing for my birthday, another surprise for Hubby's birthday (sorry, not saying where here, he has his spys!!) and a retreat near the middle of the month.
Also!! Starting in December I will be doing a Card a day until Christmas Day. Showcasing our class cards and some of my personal favorites. My goal is to get them up daily, but I'll tell you emailing them in can have some delays sometimes. Just know that if I have a day without one you'll get a double posting the next day. And who knows I may include some adventures and photos in there too. And some crafting projects, love those projects!!

ust for fun here's a POD for you!! I know it's been a while since I have added one. Sorry, crafting has taken a front burner and photography a back for now. It's one of the pictures that was used in a memory lane slide show we put together for a surprise. It's of the hospital where DD was born and I work at. It has grown so much over the fifteen years. And DD has too lol.

What a great idea. I think my family should do it too. Sometimes I think we forget the simpler things in life. LOL
My granny spent some time at your hospital--it must have been about 10 years ago!!
